DC shunt wound  motor coupled to DC shunt generator  setup (Motor-Generator setup):

1) DC Integrated motor with following specs: Voltage: Varm = 220V, Vfield = 220V, Capacity:

1500W/2 pole/ 1500RPM/8 terminals, Rotor construction: Standard commutator / brush

arrangement with laminated stack, brought out on 2 terminals, Stator construction: Separately

excited field winding with laminated solid yoke 2 pole and series winding brought out on 4

terminals,  with easily swappable gear coupling.

2) DC Integrated motor with following specs: Voltage: Varm = 220V, Vfield = 180V, Capacity:

1000W/2 pole/ 1500RPM/8 terminals, Rotor construction: Standard commutator / brush

arrangement with laminated stack, brought out on 2 terminals, Stator construction: Separately

excited field winding with laminated solid yoke 2 pole and series winding brought out on 4

terminals.

  1. panel of Aluminum profile sturdy (4x2) flat panel (table top) system, carrying various high voltage components housed in MS insulated enclosures (panel) to minimise shock possibility
  2. Digital DC voltmeter (0-300V), DC Ammeter (0-5A) with polarity protection diode
  3. Digital RPM indicator with frame mountable proximity sensor.
  4. Digital voltmeter & ammeter to watch the field control voltage & current on the front panel.
  5. Field failure relay to control Armature supply. Both 6A/6B needed simultaneously.
  6. DC lamp load for loading the shunt generator 2 sets of lamps will be provided with 4mm terminals for connections in the circuit.
  7. Built in dc field control supply for separately excited dc shunt generator

  9. Safety through the MCB in case of short circuits.
  10. Emergency stop button for emergency halt of operation of the instruments.
