Power Electronics Devices Trainer has been designed to study the Characteristics of the following:

  1. Light Activated Solid State Switch using Triac & Diac.
  2. Light Intensity Control using SCR & R Triggering
  3. Light Intensity Control using PWM & IGBT

 

  1. Phase Control using TRIAC & DIAC.
  2. UJT Controlled SCR Time Delay

DC Fan Speed Control using PWM & Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect 

*       DC Regulated Power Supply of 12V

*      Separate 4mm sockets markes as “AC POWER SUPPLY 220V AC” on front panel using SPDT switch.

*      Circuits for different experiments are (SCR, DIAC, TRIAC, UJT, MOSFET & IGBT’s) are printed on front panel and important connections are brought out on sockets.

*       DC Fan, & Lamp Load is also provided on the front panel.

*       Power Requirement : 220V AC ±10%, 50Hz

 

*      Standard Accessories : 1. A Training Manual.
